Thinking Thankful

The last post was depressing. And honestly…I feel rotten about everything.
Who invented stupid weddings anyway?! 
Haha….of course I can’t wait to get married. That has’t changed. Less than two months to go! This is a happy thought. And despite the dramas that are going on behind the scenes…there is much to be thankful for.
And here I will prove it!
I am thankful for…
1. Sitting on the couch in the dark living room, watching a incredible thunder and lightening storm with Al.
2. A fantastic time at the beach on Saturday. Hot, hot sun. Sunscreen. Hats. Sunglasses. Swimming. Waves. Three crazy guys acting like kids in the water. Accidental mouthfuls of salt water.
3. Lying on the beach in the dark, looking at a vast expanse of starlit sky.
4. One of my special needs students looking at me and declaring, “Slest! You’re the best!” and giving me a thumbs up.
5. Tim tams sitting beside me, keeping me company.
6. Wedding invites in the process of being made and sent out.
7. A sparkling ring on my finger.
8. A fun evening with my sisters.
9. A nice couple of days with Al’s parents, drinking coffees and eating yummy foods at Oscars. (Best food!)
10. The guy I love who will pop over tonight after work and tuck me into bed.
